Editorial Board

Peter Yiwen Liu

Dr. Peter Y. Liu of Sydney is a graduate from the University of Sydney in Medicine and Surgery with first class honors. He completed his PhD in Medicine at the same institution. He was the recipient from the University of Sydney of the James Aitken and the E. Trenchard Miller Memorial Scholarships as well as the National Health and Medical Research Council's Neil Hamilton Fairley and the Postdoctoral Scholarships. He also received the Royal Australasian College of Physician's Vincent Fairfax Family Scholarship. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Mayo Clinic studying Endocrinology and male reproductive medicine. He has been asked to research at the University of California, Los Angeles Harbor Medical Center as part of this postdoctoral training. His research has focused on understanding why men produce less testosterone as they age and how this might be prevented. Dr. Liu plans to return to Australia and secure an academic position at University of Sydney and a hospital appointment in Sydney. He has volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Sydney and was a medical volunteer at the Sydney Paralympics.
