Abstract |
Surgery and radiation have both been shown to increase the long-term disease-specific survival rate for men with clinically localized prostate cancer. Although both modalities have demonstrated favorable effects on cancer control, questions regarding quality of life (QoL) and functional outcomes remain incompletely answered.
