Review Articles survey recent developments in a topical area of andrological research. Reviews have a word limit of 6000 words including abstract but excluding references, tables and figures. Research Highlight are published by AJA in order to provide our readership with a ‘digest’ of the best and most interesting primary research papers that are being published in the field of andrology on all topics that relate to men’s health. Commentary articles are succinct comments on articles published in Asian Journal of Andrology. Perspectives articles present personal, forward-looking or speculative, reviews of a scientific topic. Papers presenting controversial positions or two reviews that advocate opposite sides of a research controversy are also published as Perspectives. Opinion pieces cover a wide variety of topics that are of current interest in andrology and highlight their interaction with society.
