Immnunofluorescence staining in human sperm shows the subcellular localization and differential expression of SPANXa/d proteins in both normal and patient spermatozoa using anti-SPANX immunoreagents. In normal spermatozoa, SPANXa/d staining (red) was observed in the posterior head, associated with the cytoplasmic droplet and was localized in the nuclear vacuoles.
