男性性别决定:深入了解分子机制

Kathryn McClelland, Josephine Bowles and Peter Koopman (澳大利亚)

性别发育障碍,通常起源于引导胚胎性腺分化成睾丸或卵巢两种不能功能器官的分子或细胞网络的异常。通过刺激支持细胞的分化,激活伴Y基因Sry 和其下游区靶点Sox9 触发睾丸分化,然后促使睾丸的形态发生。此遗传通路一旦形成,便会在促进睾丸发育的同时积极抑制参与卵巢发育的基因。本综述旨在阐述睾丸形成以及面对雌性性征发育压力下维持雄性性征的过程。
