【特刊综述】糖皮质激素和前列腺癌治疗：是敌是友？糖皮质激素已经用于前列腺癌的治疗，可延缓疾病进展，改善疼痛症状，减轻化疗和内分泌治疗的副作用。然而，糖皮质激素有通过突变的雄激素受体或糖皮质激素受体促进前列腺癌生长的潜在可能。本综诉回顾了糖皮质激素在前列腺癌治疗中的应用，其抑制或促进前列腺癌生长的潜在机制，并阐述评价其对前列腺癌生物学行为影响的方法。关键词：前列腺癌，睾酮，双氢睾酮，糖皮质激素，类固醇，糖皮质激素受体，雄激素受体
