【特刊综述】精索静脉曲张病理生理学及其与活性氧和精子DNA断裂关系的新见解
精索静脉曲张与男性生殖机能的减弱有关。随着生物分子技术的进步,对精索静脉曲张损害睾丸的机理可能有了更好的理解。目前的研究证据表明活性氧(ROS)与氧化应激(OS)在精索静脉曲张相关的男性不育症的发病机理的关键作用,虽然这个机理还没有全面的阐释,但它很有可能是多因素导致的。过多的活性氧与精子DNA断裂有关,而精子DNA断裂可以调整弱精子功能和与精索静脉曲张相关的受精结果。相比于传统的精液分析,ROS/OS和DNA断裂的检测能够提供额外的诊断和预后信息,而且可以对单个病人指导治疗管理策略。
