【综述】NADPH氧化酶:其在勃起功能中的作用的近期研究结果

活性氧(ROS)在生理学和病理生理学的重要作用已经逐渐得到认可。在正常情况下,ROS作为一个信号分子调节细胞的功能。然而,在还原型烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸磷酸 (NADPH)氧化酶的活化作用下产生的过多的ROS产物极大地有助于心血管疾病的发生。尽管现已证明ROS的升高与勃起功能障碍(ED)相关,但是ROS在阴茎中的来源仍鲜为人知。近几年来,涌现出大量的证据表明NADPH氧化酶在ED发病过程中起作用。此综述调查了不同疾病模型中的ROS与ED的关系,并讨论了近期由NADPH氧化酶来源的ROS引起ED的一些证据。
