(Guest editors: Prof Yifei Wang and Prof Hui Meng Tan

Many aspects that affect mens health, such as disease burden or risk factors for cardiometabolic diseases, vary greatly across Asia. The July 2011 Special Issue on Asian Mens Health deals with the many factors that affect mens health in the region, including traditional medicinal practices, the growing importance of prostate cancer in Asia, testosterone deficiency and testosterone treatment trends. The accompanying web focus presents a collection of recent articles related to Asian mens health from across Nature Publishing Group.
