FALLING SPERM COUNTS AND GLOBAL ESTROGEN POLLUTION: LESSONS LEARNED 20 YEARS ON
(Guest editors: Prof. David J Handelsman and Dr Trevor G Cooper)
The March 2013 special issue of Asian Journal of Andrology discusses the claim that falling sperm counts worldwide are due to global estrogen pollution, which, when published in 1992, raised the most public, fervent and durable controversy in the short history of Andrology. This special issue is provided in order to enable readers to arrive at their own conclusions. We warmly welcome further discussion and dialogue on this topic and any other controversial issues. Further background information on this important topic is available through the accompanying web focus which links to related articles from across Nature Publishing Group. Please see articles marked
